About Us

Find out more about us! The World Heritage Site is managed by the Jurassic Coast Team, a collaboration of the Jurassic Coast Trust and local authorities.

Jurassic Coast Team

The role of the Jurassic Coast Team is as advisor, supporter, coordinator, facilitator or implementer for the Site’s Management Plan. The team works the length of the coast, depending on where the activity is focused at any one time, and as a central hub, for example in terms of disseminating information. The Team is a collaboration between the Jurassic Coast Trust and local authorities, hosted by Dorset County Council, and gratefully supported by Dorset and Devon County Councils, Natural England, the Environment Agency, Heritage Lottery Fund and other funders.
