Jurassic Journey: Ben Osborne's story of the Jurassic Coast, Dorset and East Devon's World Heritage Site, inspired by its geology, wildlife, culture, its people and its landscapes.
Natural England has revealed plans for improvements to the South West Coast Path between Lyme Regis and Rufus Castle on the Isle of Portland. The proposed 67km route would connect with the section between Rufus Castle and Lulworth Cove, where work is currently underway.
The Jurassic Coast Trust and Dorset Forest School are teaming up this summer to offer a range of brilliant beach school sessions for children aged 5 – 12. If your kids love the great outdoors, are keen for some adventure and are interested in the Jurassic Coast and all things wild, then one of these new three hour sessions might be just the thing to ward off holiday boredom.
As we head towards the peak holiday season and the increase in visitors coming to enjoy the wonderful coastline and beaches along the Jurassic Coast, we thought it would be a good time to remind everyone about the importance of staying safe on the coast.
