We are here to support every school in Dorset and East Devon to help children and young people learn about why the Jurassic Coast is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. BJC Gets Creative with Earth Science 2013 - 2016

Over the next 3 years, we will be delivering a strategic Earth Science education programme across the Southwest funded by the Primary Science Teaching Trust. Our aim is to create a network of confident and knowledgeable Primary science teachers who are equipped to deliver high quality earth science education about the Jurassic Coast across a range of settings.

BJC Pocket Money 2014: Applications now open!

Get your hands on some BJC Pocket Money to fund your next school project or fieldtrip about the Jurassic Coast. We are awarding grants for up to £250 and your application needs to be in by March 31st 2014 by 5pm.

Fossil Festival 2014: Register to Attend

Applications to the 2014 Fossil Festival are now open. Please download a form and submit your registration to attend.  The Secondary School Day is on 1st May at Thomas Hardye School and the Primary School Day is on 2nd May in Lyme Regis.

Teacher Training Events 2014

Come and join us at FOUR events this year to learn about how the Jurassic Coast can transform your teaching for the new Primary and Secondary curriculum. The course costs just £150 and includes classroom resources and lunch.
