Ammonite

The genus Quenstedtoceras contains a bewildering number of very similar-looking species and they can be found on the muddy shore of the Fleet near Tidmoor Point. Please note that Tidmoor lies inside the Chickerell Firing Range and is closed during live firing exercises.
