Ammonite

Liparoceras is a very distinctive ammonite from the Green Ammonite Beds around Seatown and Golden Cap. This ammonite was probably collected in Dorset from the Davoei Zone of the Green Ammonite Beds in the Lower Lias. It has been cut and polished to show a brown calcite infilling.
