Brachiopod shell

Rhynchonellid brachiopods are amongst the smallest shells found fossilised along the coast. Unfortunately there is no information about this specimen, so we don’t know where it was found or what age it may be.

These are almost certainly from the Blue Lias near Lyme Regis.
