The Jurassic Coast Communities Forum is a community-led group that spans the coast and inputs directly to the main Jurassic Coast Steering Group.
Communities Forum meetings are held every three months and are chaired by John Wokersien, Jurassic Coast Trustee and Ambassador. Members of the forum include Councillors, representatives of local organisations, local business operators and Jurassic Coast Ambassadors. Meetings are an opportunity for the Jurassic Coast Team and Trust to report directly to community representatives, and for those same community representatives to raise and discuss any issues pertaining to the World Heritage Site. This could include access, signage, public transport, or proposed developments.
If you live or work on or near the World Heritage Site, we would love to welcome you to the forum. Membership is free and all meetings are voluntarily attended by members. They are held in a different coastal region each time, and offer a space where open dialogue is encouraged.
