Graston Farm Holiday Cottages are situated on a working farm nestling in the tranquility and beauty of the Bride Valley. They are within easy walking distance of the now world famous Jurassic Coast and we are able to provide maps for the many varied and interesting local walks linking into the Coastal Path.
‘Rock around the Coast', the popular series of guided walks spanning the entire 95-mile length of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, is returning as part of the Jurassic Coast Earth Festival 2012, and as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad by the Sea.
Funding sought to kick start Jurassic Coast marine transport links
The Jurassic Coast Partnership has applied for £2.8 million from the Big Lottery Coastal Communities Fund to help develop marine links at both the western and eastern end of the 95-mile long Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
A new book that takes a quirky look at the Jurassic Coast has been published in time for Christmas – and it’s already proving to be a big hit. The Jurassic Coast – A Mighty Tale is published by The Jurassic Coast Trust and is written and illustrated by local artist Tim Britton.
