Guy is responsible for the delivery of the Growing the Jurassic Coast Community project. This involves working closely with numerous organisations including businesses, museums and visitor centres in order to increase public engagement with the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
A key part of the project is recruiting, training and managing Ambassadors, enthusiastic and diverse members of the public who develop projects in a variety of subjects in order to bolster public awareness, knowledge and engagement with the Coast.
Guy’s background is in marketing and fundraising. Having graduated from Curtin University in his native Western Australia in 2004, he has worked at a variety of non-proft organisations including EveryChild in London and New Zealand Red Cross. Moving more towards his passion for environmental causes, his most recent positions were with Cornwall Wildlife Trust and Nature Workshops in Falmouth. Guy is employed by the Jurassic Coast Trust, but works closely with the rest of the Team.

‘Heading down to Lyme Regis and exploring for fossils after a storm. You never know what you’ll find! Or the stunning views from Golden Cap, culminating in a trip to Hive Beach Café in Burton Bradstock after a morning’s walk.’
