Take a walk through time along the South West Coast Path. England’s longest National Trail offers unparalleled coastal views and the 95 mile Jurassic Coast section allows you to literally walk through 185 million years of geological time.

Tick off the ‘major challenge’ box by undertaking the whole Jurassic Coast route, which you could do in about six to eight days (although we’d recommend taking it slower and enjoying it more), or walk shorter sections of the path and experience the diversity and drama of what has been described as Britain’s best walking route. Catching the Jurassic Coaster bus back to your starting point is always an option, meaning you can walk further and not have to retrace your steps on the South West Coast Path.
