We offer three types of accommodation, all located within Dorset's Natural Landscape each with their own style.  We are located in the village of Salway Ash, near Bridport, with the World Famous Jurassic Coastline at West Bay and the vibrant market town of Bridport a 10 minute drive away. Bridport has a twice weekly street market & a vibrant antiques quarter, Charmouth is ideal for fossil hunting and Lyme Regis beautiful. At Strongate we welcome both children and pets.

Strongate Cottage - Traditional thatched "chocolate box" cottage, a cosy rural retreat, rated 4* Visit England and located on our small working farm, located down a long winding lane, in the village of Salway Ash, lovely garden with outdoor seating.  Open plan lounge with galley kitchen, fireplace with electric fire/night storage heaters.  A perfect base for relaxing, recharging batteries & exploring.  The Cottage sleeps 4 with bedrooms and bathroom upstairs.  One bedroom has a double bed, the other with twin beds.  Bath with shower attachment. Spring water and pet friendly too.  Ideal accommodation for a couple, or family at any time of the year 

Strongate Orchard - our single static home is located in the Orchard at Strongate Farm in the village of Salway Ash, it's a perfect farm stay with plenty of level green space to utiliise giving you the freedom to make the space your own for the duration of your stay.  A great  base for exploring Dorset and ideal for families on more of a budget.  BBQ and firepit located within the Orchard.  Sleeps 4 with two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two smaller singles. Shower room and a separate toilet.  Decking with outside table and chairs, perfect for eating outside.  Spring water and pet friendly too.  

Strongate View Apartment  - located in the heart of Salway Ash village and rated 4* Visit England our first floor Apartment is cosy and sleeps 2 with a lovely king size bed. A young child can be accommodated on a single day bed and travel cot and highchair also available.  Idyllic view of the Marshwood Vale from the lounge window and whilst attached to our home the Apartment is self contained with it's own private entrance.  Separate workstaion area should you need to work during your stay with fibre WIFI. Shower room with under floor heating.  Kitchenette with dishwasher and separate cooking area.  A perfect choice for couples and an ideal location to explore Dorset,  with it's many traditional local pubs, at any time of the year. 

Furleigh Estate Vineyard and Dorset Nectar Cider are both located within a mile of Strongate, both offer tastings and tours and are well worth a visit.
