The Jurassic Coast Volunteer Network is a volunteer placement scheme, coordinated by the Jurassic Coast Trust through our network of partner organisations in the environmental, tourism and heritage sectors.
If you’re aged over 18 and interested in kick-starting your career on the Jurassic Coast, or in changing direction, then we can offer you work experience that develops your skills, and enables you to gain accreditation.
Volunteers are matched to an appropriate role and are given training and support throughout their placement. Placements are available in Dorset, Devon and occasionally further afield. There are a wide variety of placements available including conservation work, education, science communication, customer service and research.
