The Donkey Sanctuary is a fantastic charity that offers a better, safer home to donkeys and mules in need. Whether it’s a charity you’ve come into contact with before or not, the hard work and passion behind what they offer is evident in everything they do.

The main Donkey Sanctuary base is located in Sidmouth, which is just a short walk from the Jurassic Coast, and makes a great destination for anyone looking to extend their day out. The Donkey Sanctuary are proud to be a Jurassic Coast Trust Business Partner, supporting their work protecting our beautiful World Heritage Site for present and future generations to enjoy.

As summer comes closer, it’s the perfect time to plan a visit to The Donkey Sanctuary and take part in one of their brilliant events. The Sanctuary can offer a full day out for your family, with plenty of donkeys to befriend, a café, and staff full to the brim with donkey and mule knowledge.
