Sitting Spiritually of Lyme Regis were delighted to become Business Partners of the Jurassic Coast Trust in early 2019. As the Trust’s Guy Kerr wrote about us then:

Sitting Spiritually are our first Business Partner of their kind – a truly unique, locally based company who evidently put all of their love and attention into producing their pieces.

Their approach is permeated by all things Jurassic – from Martin’s tranquil home showroom, nestled in the Uplyme countryside, new and returning customers peruse the items on show, with Lyme Regis’ gorgeous cliffs and fossil-strewn beaches just about visible through the trees.

The gardens at Sitting Spiritually, located just outside Lyme Regis on the Jurassic Coast.

The Sitting Spiritually Garden is the hub of where it all starts to happen and acts as our showroom, with many of our swing seats on display, including the fabulous Swinging Day Bed and the newly launched Knole Garden Bench.  Sit on each of them (or elegantly recline on the Swinging Day Bed!) and view the garden from the many different aspects they offer.

The Garden itself has had some major redesigns over the past few years by the award winning Garden Designers, Jarmanmurphy. You can read about the latest of these on our website.

We will be hosting our third Open Garden Weekend  of 2019 on the weekend of 7-8th September, and Sarah Jarman & Anna Murphy will be on hand to talk about the garden with visitors.

There will be special offers available on all our products, including a free case of local wines for all orders placed in the garden over the weekend.

Confirmed Exhibitors with us will be…

Adrian Gray Stone Balancing

Adrian Gray is the pioneer of stonebalancing art. He works predominantly with sculpture and photography,  exploring  the natural world of balance. He creates balancing sculptures using weathered stone ranging in size from  small tactile rocks to massive granite boulders. These sculptures can be fixed permanently in their balanced position to be installed safety in homes, gardens and commercial settings. Adrian films the initial balance and then fixes the sculpture in its new location.  There are a number of Adrian’s sculptures in the Sitting Spiritually Garden.
