Do you have a passion for the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site?
Can you volunteer some of your time to speak about it to people in your community? Do you have a particular talent that you’d like to put to more use?
If the answer to these questions is yes, you could be our next Jurassic Coast Ambassador!
Our Ambassadors (volunteers) are a diverse group of people who give their time to support the work of our team and help us deliver our work across the World Heritage Site.
Our Ambassadors include teachers, business owners, geologists, graphic designers, walks leaders, photographers, students and people from all walks of life.
Our Ambassadors deliver a variety of projects and activities with the support of the Jurassic Coast Trust team, including leading guided walks, delivering education programmes in local schools, speaking to community groups, appearing at events, and providing content for our website.
A key role of the Ambassadors is telling people in their local community about the World Heritage Site, to create a sense of civic pride, belonging and garner support for our wider aims.
In return, we offer quality training, social opportunities, skills development and the chance to make a real difference to protecting a globally important asset; England's only natural World Heritage Site.
You can meet some of our current Ambassadors here. If you are interested in becoming an Ambassador, please contact us.
