Leave the car behind and explore England’s only Natural World Heritage Site known as the Jurassic Coast.
Sailing from Exmouth at 10am the first part of your journey will take in a panoramic view of the oldest sections of the coast lines. You will be able to see the impact that human habitation has on the coast line and also how the cliffs change in colour, height and formation as you travel through millions of years of the Earth’s history.
Landing at Seaton for 2.5 hours there is the chance to take a further Bay Cruise (additional cost) around this sheltered area and explore the town bordering on the Axe Estuary which is paralleled by the excellent Seaton Tramway and a gateway to the famous ‘Undercliffs’.
On the return journey the sailing will run close to shore viewing the changing rock types, headlands, sea stacks and wildlife as well as the Budleigh pebble beds and Kittiwake colony.
Return into Exmouth is 6pm approximately.
