Seafood & Sounds is a Community Event organised by a few Business Owners, Jeanette from Truly Scrumptious sweet shop, Michelle from Poole Arms, Helen & Carol from City Cruises, Nikki from Custom House & Severine from St Tropez. The Idea came about after Poole Seafood Festival was cancelled. The event is being funded by The Dolphin & supported Poole BID

 

THE OUTLINE SO FAR

The weekend kicks off with a parade from The Slug & Lettuce down Old Town and onto the Quay, there will be music from Samba Panashe followed by children from local schools & community groups, the children will be dressed up in fancy dress and some parading their homemade seacreature masks or fish they have coloured in. The Parade is being sponsored by Oriels

Music all afternoon featuring twenty acts performing on Five stages being organised by Absolute music

Enjoy specially created seafood dishes at participating local hospitality businesses – ALL WEEKEND! Look out for the “Special” seafood offering during the weekend advertised in their windows or on special boards.

Daily ‘Produce & Gift Market’ in La Mias previously Hennings on the Quay.  Featuring fish and shellfish stalls, and local produce suppliers.

Nusara, Poole is offering Seafood Specials on both Saturday and Sunday and Live music  “Old Town Boulevard Stage” sponsored by NUSARA
