About

Stuart Line Cruises is a multi-award-winning, family-run business which has now been operating for over 50 years from Exmouth, in Devon. They are proud members of Devon's Top Attractions - voted 'Best Small Attraction in Devon' and work hard to showcase Devon as the best destination in the UK. As well as offering regular cruises of the River Exe and English Riviera, Stuart Line Cruises have become famous for their outstanding circular cruises of East Devon's Jurassic Coast, sailing past Budleigh Salterton towards the iconic Sea Stacks at Ladram Bay, near Sidmouth. Departing regularly throughout the Summer months from Exmouth Marina, passengers can view Exmouth's three-mile golden sandy beach and the Geoneedle at Orcombe Point which marks the start of the Jurassic Coast, before heading out of the River Exe and into the English Channel. Depending on tide and weather conditions, the boat travels close to the towering cliffs in one direction, enabling passengers to explore fascinating geology and hidden coves, and travels further offshore in the other direction, offering sensational views of dramatic landscapes, with uninterrupted views from two distinctive perspectives. The cruises are family-friendly with an informative live commentary from the Skipper, detailing the history, geology, beauty and diverse wildlife found along this stretch of coast. There are toilets and a fully licensed bar on board the boat, with attentive Crew serving a range of locally-sourced food and drinks including traditional Devon Cream Teas from The Devon Scone Company - a delightful addition to any cruise in Devon! Exmouth is the gateway to the oldest section of the Jurassic Coast, offering a fantastic display of 250 million year old Triassic rocks, which are best viewed from the entirely unique perspective of the water.
