About

Purbeck Ice Cream are a family-run business based in Kingston, near Wareham. They have operated since 1988, when owners Peter and Hazel Hartle converted their dairy farm into an ice cream manufacturer. They have since gone from strength to strength, scooping numerous awards for innovation and developing a presence throughout the UK.

Purbeck Ice Cream donate 5p from every tub of their Jurassic Range to the Jurassic Coast Trust, to help protect and conserve the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The Jurassic Range includes Dig-A-Saurus and Skull-Diggery, and is available in outlets across the Jurassic Coast.

Purbeck Ice Cream Sponsor Free Kids' Places on Dinosaur Footprints Walks

Purbeck Ice Cream sponsor free places for children on the Jurassic Coast Trust's walks to the Spyway Dinosaur Footprints every year with the proceeds from sales of the Jurassic Range. These walks are led by expert Jurassic Coast Ambassadors. See our Shop for upcoming walks dates.
