The Jurassic Coast Trust team are always busy, working to protect and conserve the UNESCO World Heritage Site. We would like to provide regular updates on our ongoing work. Here is the latest:

  • We were extremely saddened to hear of the passing of our patron, Professor Denys Brunsden. Read more about this on our recent blog post
  • We have had the final draft of the Jurassic Coast Museum feasibility Report. The team are now reflecting on the next steps and will be communicating more on this soon.
  • We are excited to announce the appointment of our new team member, Saskia, who will take on the role of Protected Site Strategy Project Officer. Watch this space for an introduction to Saskia and the project.
  • We are in the final stages of embedding the Jurassic Coast Collection database and look forward to sharing this in due course.
  • We are putting together an online talk series for Jurassic Coast Trust Members all about the Jurassic Coast, geology, palaeontology and World Heritage.
  • We are about to start a full evaluation of our website, including user research. If you have any feedback or would like to be involved, please contact Lauren
  • Are you visiting the Jurassic Coast this half term? Check our website and social media for things to do.
