Saskia has been working hard on the Jurassic Coast Geo-Heritage Sustainability Study (part of Natural England's Protected Site Strategies) and has been collating information in both map and spreadsheet form to get a detailed view on what makes each section of the coast unique and important. Along with Sam, they have been having talks with key stakeholders in the project and have had interesting discussions on the protections in place along the coast and how these may need to evolve over time. They also hope to soon begin commissioning research to analyse potential impacts to the site from climate change and rising sea levels.
