At this time of the year, our communications start to focus on the 'Power of Nature '. In the October 2018 edition of Time to Inspire, I wrote an article which described how the dramatic storms, rockfalls and landslides witnessed on the Jurassic Coast shape natural erosion and make our coast the unique, rugged place of Outstanding Universal Value we experience today and ultimately, provides us with the designation of England 's only Natural World Heritage Site.

The area known as The Isle of Purbeck is a 60 square mile stretch of South East Dorset and is the perfect location for those seeking relaxation, stimulation, adventure and fun. There is so much to explore from an ancient castle to chocolate box villages, hills and heathland, stunning beaches, coves and coastline, so there really is something for everyone when visiting the Purbecks.

When the giant front flippers, or "paddles €, of a prehistoric sea dragon called an ichthyosaur, were found on a beach in Lyme Regis, it was a very exciting scientific discovery. Not only was the fossil huge in size, but experts were convinced the rest of the creature was still buried under the rocks.
