Raffiella Chapman is a young actor who has been a Jurassic Coast Trust Ambassador since 2016. Raffi has a lifelong love of fossils, dinosaurs and science, and has regularly contributed her Raffi's Rocks  column to the Trust's Go Jurassic Rangers magazine. Raffi is due to star in an upcoming episode of His Dark Materials on BBC One.

At this time of the year, our communications start to focus on the 'Power of Nature '. On the 8th March 2017, the unthinkable happened to one of Malta's most iconic natural monuments. The Azure Window, a natural limestone coastal arch, which formed the backdrop for scenes in Clash of the Titans, the Count of Monte Cristo and Game of Thrones collapsed after a violent storm.

The area known as The Isle of Purbeck is a 60 square mile stretch of South East Dorset and is the perfect location for those seeking relaxation, stimulation, adventure and fun. When the giant front flippers, or "paddles €, of a prehistoric sea dragon called an ichthyosaur, were found on a beach in Lyme Regis, it was a very exciting scientific discovery. Not only was the fossil huge in size, but experts were convinced the rest of the creature was still buried under the rocks.
